The Everyday Project Day 305

I have to admit I'm feeling at a bit of a loss today. Last night was my last meeting as prez of MMWLL. For the last 2 years, when people would ask what I do, my first answer was always, "I'm the president of Little League." Even though I am trading in the job for 3 jobs (snack shack manager, secretary and District fall ball coordinator), I kind of feel sad and slightly worried. Mostly because I worked so hard to get that league organiized and running efficiently, today it seems a little hard to let go. I'm sure the new prez will do a fine job but he has NO idea the amount of work I put into it. He will soon find out.

In the spirit of  "spin" as I work on my resume and cover letter, I'm no longer a substitute teacher and professional volunteer. Retired teacher embarking on a new career sounds much better. I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. I guess I'll have to credit Roger who retired from Apple to become an IT specialist for a school.

Gotta spin it round.

It is what it is...
Namaste
