The plan: hang pictures that didn't go back on the walls after the Sandy repair work,shop for some snacks and drinks and scout out some new rugs.
To accomplish the plan: Paula and I were to go to Lowes and Home Depot to buy picture hangers and look at rugs. Stop at a grocery store. 1 -2 hours tops.
In actuality 4 hours later...We had the picture hangers and 3 rugs and the groceries. I found a 30% off coupon for Kohls that expired today so we stopped there. We found the 3 rugs but we weren't sure so we bought them anyway because we can return them... Which we will. Wrong size, wrong color and Dad doesn't want rugs for the hall. And we had to shop a little for ourselves.
The kids decided to go in the canal. They only saw 1 jellyfish so they slathered themselves with some jellyfish repellant that is about 6 years old and in they went.
The boys 1-2-3'd Cara and let her jump without them.
Then church, then Applebee's.
Nice ride. That little beauty belongs to Auntie Paula
And the Boardwalk Andrew won his 1st prize at the water gun game.
Cara won the the Restore the Shore t-shirt in the grabber game
Field trip tomorrow 9/11 Memorial. We got special family member passes.
