It is what it is...

However...
After hearing that the temperature for San Diego was supposed to be 88 and the reading on my patio today was 117 at noon, I suggested we move the All Star Games from 11am to 9:30 am.

Although this would mean an extra hassle for everyone from umpires to scorekeepers, announcers, snack bar workers, field guys, etc, the bottom line is its hot for kids playing baseball in those conditions. Especially the catchers and the umpires. It was a 99.9% go. Then the .1% kicked in. It seems a starting pitcher from one of the team has to play in a soccer game at 9am and can't play in his All Star baseball game until the original start time of 11 am.

Note to self. Don't try to change things once they are scheduled.

The Snack Shack is stocked with water, Gatorade and ice. I hope we are not calling 911.
