The Everyday Project Day 73

All the boys played nicely and the MMWLL draft is done. From what I can see is we have pretty balanced teams in all divisions. That is the goal because come playoff time, we want all the teams to have about 9-9 records. If a team is 17-1 or 1-17, that's no fun for anyone.

The best part of the day was watching grown men agonizing over kids age 6-13 like they were MLB players making millions of dollars. It was hard to keep a straight face while they were discussing and trading players and families.

The families are a big part of the draft.
Who can help coach, who has a good team mom, who can make a banner, who can work in the snack shack, who will show up on time, who can give rides to the kids that can't .....

Who has the Presidents's kid????

Colin has Coach Shawn Ridgwell and is on the Red Sox. Cara has Coach Brian Leicester and is on the Rangers.  I'm happy with both. Can't wait for Cara to get that cast off.

Next up? The mandatory all league meeting and work party next Saturday. Just give me that microphone!

It is what it is...
Namaste
