It's a cliche filled night around here. And they all go both ways.
The drama continues... What drama you ask??? Why LL drama of course. Assessments are tomorrow. Scott has been working the phones trying to get a bunch of kids signed up so we can have 4 teams in each division so no traveling. We met with the HS coach to get some players to help by pitching and and shagging balls, etc.
The sh$$$ has hit it. An inquiry was made to the CIF, the governing athletic board, about the 7/8 grade HS prep travel team that wants to use our fields. Seems that the team is not in compliance. One of our board members is resigning because " of the direction some of the board members are taking.... Blah blah blah. "
You would think due diligence to LL International and making sure that a team subletting our fields is in compliance with what they are saying they are would be of upmost importance. As a board member. Cause that's what it says in the job description.
Why can't kids just play baseball. Adults are idiots. Time to go to 7-11 for another bottle of wine.
