A player on Cara's team who is not one of the strongest, got his chance to pitch in tonight's game. The team has already secured the number one spot in the regular season. (1st time ever for Cara... she is always on the losing teams) Giving all the players a chance to pitch usually happens toward the end of the season when the team is up by a lot or has no chance to win.
Chris pitched 2 innings, struck out 3 of the Reds top players, walked 1 kid and made 2 or 3 plays to first. It was Awesome!!!! Game ball for him.
All Star voting for the Intermediate division is on Saturday. The kids vote on the first 5 kids and the coaches pick the next 7. President (me) gets to choose the manager. Cara is not the best player, but she is the BEST teammate and has such a good attitude. I hope she gets voted on. No voting in the Junior division for Colin. There is only 1 team so everyone will make it if they sign up.
Post season is right around the corner.
