Let's get ready for All Stars!
MMWLL is hosting the Junior division All Star tournament. (13 and 14 year olds) This is a pretty big undertaking. 17 games between June 22 and July 4. The field needs to be prepped daily, announcers and scorekeepers need to be found. The Snack Shack has to be up and running. Thank goodness we have a great group of teens who LOVE helping out.
Now...no one - out of our 10 league district will host the Intermediate All Star Tournament (11,12,13 year olds) Clairemont Hilltoppers, who are already hosting a tournament volunteered to do the beginning few games before their 9-10 year old tournament starts. Guess who got asked to take it on? You know it..us. 11 more games - same time frame. If no one hosts there will be no tournament.
More work, more fun. That's who gets it done.
